Why we built this.

Bookkeepers are the quiet backbone of small business. Without them, the books don't close, payroll runs late, taxes get filed wrong, and founders make bad decisions on stale numbers. They are the most invisible critical role in finance.

And they spend 8 to 15 hours a month chasing receipts. Not analyzing books. Not advising clients. Just sending the same polite reminder, opening the same statement PDFs, and re-typing the same Vodacom voucher into Xero for the third Tuesday in a row.

ChaseDesk does that part. The boring part. The part that doesn't need a human, but always has gotten one.

We are intentionally narrow. We don't try to replace your bookkeeping software. We don't process payroll. We don't file your sales tax. We chase, OCR, categorize, and post — the four steps every firm does manually, every month, for every client. Done quietly, in the background, while you sleep.
